FIRST "TEA IN THE GARDEN" for 2017

Welcome to my first "Tea In The Garden"
for the 2017 season
and a bit of a celebration of
Forget Me Nots:

Our frost date was yesterday April 11 and
I am holding them to that......hopefully!

I have set up a little table so that we can
enjoy our cup of tea over by Mr. Peter Rabbit
who wants to hear everything we talk about!

The garden is just starting to come forth
so please don't be too critical.  I am
excited to see what happens this year.
I am learning as I go!

Last year I grew most of these
 Forget Me Nots
from seeds.

I am learning to grow more plants from seeds
which I started in the basement back in February:

Even though I am calling today "Tea In The Garden"
if you want to link to my blog party below - it certainly doesn't have to be in the garden - just needs to be something about tea!

Good morning, Bernideen! Mr. Rabbit looks so happy in your gorgeous patch of forget me nots, and ready to listen to our conversation over tea! I'm loving your pretty table and your lovely chair coverings. Thank you for hosting your first tea in the garden for this Spring. Happy Easter to you and your hubby.

Your garden is emerging beautifully! You have a nice start on your flats. I need to get into the garden and weed and trim already. The flu bug got me this week and I didn't get anything done. Thanks for hosting and have a Happy Easter!

I love forget-me-nots-they are just the sweetest flowers. I am so glad you are able to have a tea outside. We are still struggling with cold weather here...it was spitting snow yesterday but supposed to get into the 50s today. I can't wait for green growing things here. xo Diana

Bernideen, how pretty! And I also love your Anne of Green Gables setup -- I'm a huge fan of Anne and especially love the series with Colleen Dewhurst playing Marilla.
