A SNOWY DAY IN COLORADO SPRINGS

Today was a snowy day and very cold.  I enjoyed
watching the birds come and go
to the bird feeder outside the kitchen window:

We try to keep our feeder full!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Bernideen, You have some lovely bird visitors! I know they appreciate the food, especially with snow cover. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!

Wow it looks so Christmasey and wintery there, Bernideen! It's amazing - yesterday was so warm here (so oddly warm it is surreal) that I didn't even need a light jacket!

We shut off the heat with the oven going so long, even!

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. I am not done with my holiday decorating, as I usually am the day after, but I have started! : - )

Fun pictures with all the birds - glad the snow is there and not here. Happy Day after Thanksgiving

You sure have had your fair share of snow already! The birds must be happy for the full feeders you tend so lovingly on their behalf. These photos show lots of bird activity.

Bernideen, you have some darling birdies! We always try to keep ours filled too. Hubby filled it late last night and the chickadees and goldfinches stuffed themselves all day. The feeder is empty again. With the trees behind our home, they sit in the trees and then swoop to the feeder, grab one and swoop back to the trees to enjoy the seeds. There were about a dozen and we had such fun watching them. They really keep us entertained.

Bernideen, we woke up to snow this morning as well. Sure is a pretty sight! Love your birds. I don't have any feeders out right now. Should do that. Forgot to ask, why is this your last Christmas in Colorado Springs? Are you moving?
hugs,
Jann

Brrr...we've been cold here, too, but no snow in the lowlands yet. Have a wonderful week!
