Autumn has been lovely so far for us. But my goodness, the winds we're having! Ever since all the blizzards we had last winter, we have had unbelievable windy weather. We will be known as the Windy Island like Chicago is known as the 'windy city' if it keeps up much longer! I'm thinking my wreath hanging on the front door is really going to take a beating. I love your transferware! Brown is so nice for this time of year. Your garden looks lovely too. Thanks for hosting and joining me for tea.

Blessings,
Sandi

Your Fall tea in the garden is just so romantic, Bernideen. I'm loving your brown transferware and your lace pumpkins.
I'm happy that therapy is helping your arthritis. With all your projects, your fingers are getting a work out!
Thank you for hosting your lovely party, and have a wonderful week.

Love the fall setting and tea time.
Oh we keep taking out arborvitae, so I am smiling that you are adding it. We would give you ours if you were closer.
Since I have had arthritis for a long time I have found a cream that really helps on my hands and feet. Voltaren Gel - I can only get it with a prescription. When I am hurting I use it for about 3 days and have relief for awhile.

Everything is quite lovely, but I am really taken with the brown and white teapot! Most of my favorites are blue and white Willows, but I have one Brown Betty. I have some brown and white plates that were my mother in laws..someday I will find a brown and white teapot too!

Wish I could join your for tea, I'm swooning over the purple embroidered table topper and napkins!
Sorry to hear of arthritis in your fingers but glad therapy is helping.

Glad to hear that your hand rehab is going well, Bernideen! I'm loving your brown transferware teapot with the peacock! Thanks for hosting and good luck with the house upgrades!

Your vintage linens are really lovely. I've been paying more attention to linens recently as they really add so much to a tablescape. I have some vintage tablecloths from Ireland that I'm hesitant to use in fear of stains. I just need to use them otherwise they're going to stay in a closet forever.
I really like brown transferware-the perfect fall teaware.
Glad therapy is working for you.

Such a pretty fall setting with all the accessories. I do not see brown transferware teapots often. Love the beaded acorns on the white pumpkin. Vintage linens are the best. I need to spend some hours in my basement.

Hi Bernideen...you have been busy! Amazing how projects tuck into retirement space! Love your pretty display...the little beaded acorns are so cute! And a lovely collection of linens! Tumeric has helped by husband's arthritis...it reduces swelling. Have your tried that? Thanks so much for hosting and have a great week!

Your vintage linens are so pretty. Women (and a very few men) took time to create lovely things with their hands. Your outdoor tea party looks wonderful.

Hi Bernideen,
I am so sorry to hear about your arthritis. I am glad that the therapy is helping. Gardening can be so hard on ones hands. I hope that you and hubby can relax a little. You don't have to complete all of your projects right away. You have lots of time now. Your fall Tea in the Garden is just so beautiful today. I love the brown transferware - so perfect for the season and all of your linens. I do hope to have one more tea outside this year too if our weather cooperates. Happy Tea Day and Thank you for hosting. Karen

How lovely everything looks! So much to drool over, the linens, the transferware, that gorgeous white tea pot! We are trying to finish up our outside projects we finished to planting, now it's time to cut back the bushes, and hopefully get up more of the new fence before the weather turns. Thanks for hosting. It is always a pleasure to join in.
