COLLECTING SADLER TEAPOTS for "Friends Sharing Tea"

I really enjoy a number of sites on Facebook and one of them is the Sadler Teapot Club.  I am always amazed at the Sadler teapots people post there to share.  I also communicate with many of you and reshare through my shop Facebook page -  Bernideen's and I participate in the Facebook group known as Afternoon Tea Across America which is great fun!  This week  for "Friends Sharing Tea" I am sharing my collection of 10 Sadler teapots.  They are such sturdy teapots it's no wonder there are so many around.

This is my newest old Sadler which I have admired in a booth at an Antique Mall for 2 years - yesterday on Mother's Day they were having a sale!  Oh boy.  my hubby wanted me to have it as he has seen me admire it so many times.

This Sadler below was very inexpensive because it has lots of crazing but I find it charming just the same.

The Sadler below left has a replacement lid.  The bottom main part was just $6.00.

I hope you can join my blog party at the bottom by linking something from your blog about tea.  I have sure been drinking my share during all this rain, hail and snow we had last week.  Every day brought moisture in some form.

So I have 10 Sadler's - do you have any?  Late note:  I sold the one with the Delphiniums on it!

I will be sharing this posting at other blog parties as well:

Good morning Bernideen,
You have a splendid collection of Sadler teapots! I have only one and that I won in a Giveaway a few years ago. Your newest one is a sweetheart and I love the one with the cottage too. The one covered in rose buds is also a darling teapot. Thank you for sharing your treasures with us and have a beautiful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

I love your collection of Sadler teapots, Bernideen. I'm glad your hubby talked you into getting the one that you've been admiring for two years. I think my favorite of yours is the one with the cottage scene on it. I only have one Sadler, and it's a plain brown one, but I do love it.
Thank you for hosting your lovely tea party so that I can admire all your pretty things.

Such a beautiful collection of Sadler teapots! Your newest one is lovely with the gold lines and floral design. It was definitely worth the wait. I only have one small Sadler in the Blue Willow pattern which I found on ebay. Of course I would love to collect more. Thanks for sharing and hope warmer weather comes your way.

Your Sadler teapots are all pretty ~ I know I have a few as well but not as many as you.
Thank you for your nice comments and I love the idea of a new flower bed in memory of Mom and have one planned but still doing the necessary garden chores. I will share pics with you when it is done.

Thank you for helping me ID one of my teapots! Friends have been encouraging me to ask you the maker of one of your pots, but I have been patiently waiting for it to pop up in a post with its name. Patience paid off! That is some collection you have. How nice of you to mention the FB pages.

The Sadler tea pots are beautiful. I don't own any Sadler tea pots at the moment. That's why I especially admired yours. How sweet of your hubby to get that one for you. Even the pot where you replaced the lid was pretty too, that lid matched perfectly.

I do love Sadler teapots, though I only have one. So fun to see the variations in your collection. The one with the replacement lid and the teacups next to it are all sooo beautiful.

You have a great collection of Saddler teapots. I think I have two. They look like your brown ones with the flower border, but with different borders.

Bernideen, love your collection! I'll have to go through my teapots and see if I have a Sadler. My linked post is not strictly about tea, but about something that goes well with tea, banana pudding. I wanted to include it so that you and your readers could get in on my giveaway of a $$$ Le Creuset pan!
