PERSONAL SIZED CREAM AND SUGAR for "Friends Sharing Tea"

When creating a great pot of tea, stir the tea gently before pouring it through the tea strainer and into the teacups.

from 365 Things Every Tea Lover Should Know

Today is "Friends Sharing Tea" which means you are invited to join this blog party by linking a post from your blog that is tea related at the bottom below.

This morning I set up a little display on my tea cart.  I wanted to share the Paragon Cream and Sugar and talk about it's size.  Have you noticed while out antiquing these little personal sized cream and sugars?  They are very fun.  Personally, I have just two sets but .  I have talked to ladies who collect many of them.

Isn't it amazing that parts of our country are in full blown springtime and then parts are still a bit chilly.  We are still in the chilly category but in spite of the snow lately I found a few blooms in the garden this morning and made a small bouquet. I see that the plants coming up have survived repeated snow on top of them.

These teacups are English Bone China and the one on the left is a Queen's.  The one with the rosebuds is a Salisbury.

I hope your week is pleasant!

What a beautiful little spring bouquet! Spring flowers don't seem to mind being chilly. Beautiful tea wagon prettily scaped.

Hi Bernideen,
I love your Queens and Salisbury teacups today! Both are so pretty! Your tea wagon in white is gorgeous! Everything looks springish! I can't wait for your Teas in the Garden. We have had warm weather this week in B.C. and I may be able to post tea outside next week. Happy Tea Day and thank you for hosting! Karen

Hi Bernideen. I love your tea cart! I had one but didn't have room after our last move so gave to a tea friend. I love the individual cream & sugars. They are so sweet! And lovely teacups too! Have a wonderful week. Thanks for hosting, and for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Very pretty, Bernideen. I have several sets of creamers and sugars. I have a huge Ansley set; not sure why anyone would need that much cream and sugar! Maybe for a big crowd?

I have a petite crystal cream and sugar that is perfect for two, or a personal set as you mentioned.
I like the teacart since you painted it Bernideen and it's set for a cozy tea this week.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.

Bernideen, I am delighted to see you retrieving some blossoms from your part of the country as I know your winter lasts longer than where I am in South Jersey--and this has seemed a long winter. My lilac tree has lovely purple flower buds and I am thrilled! I hope to take a cuppa and camera on the deck this week to capture their beauty as they waken for the season. And no snow in sight! Blessings as you take joy in beautiful things!
Joy!
Kathy

Hi Bernideen,

I'm afraid that we're also in the chilly category in my neck of the woods.

I realized after I read your post that I have a personal-sized sugar and cream set (H & K Turnstall) in my collection!

The tea cart looks so lovely. I have not seen the little individual cream and sugars, so now I will have to look for them. Your photos are so pretty. I am glad that I stopped by from Moasic Monday.

A pretty tea setting. I received a small creamer and sugar as a wedding present and haven't seen others since.

Hi Bernideen,
I love the variety of flowers in your bouquet! Everything looks so pretty on your tea cart. I also really like collecting personal creamer and sugar sets. It's sort of funny because I take my tea straight! Well at least my guests enjoy them. Have a wonderful week!

Hi my friend, haven't been around to visit my blogger friends lately. I haven't any recent tea time posts to share as I have really been into my quilting lately. I have several little cream and sugars but I never put it together that they are individuals! What fun and that puts a different spin on things.
Love ya,
Linda

Some years ago (10 or more, I think), I collected the individual sugars and creamers from James Kent. I eventually got tired of them taking up so much display space, especially since I didn't actually use them very often, and sold them, but this makes me wish I had them all back again!

You have the prettiest tea things, Bernideen. Love the individual cream and sugar and your teacup is stunning. I like your bouquet too! My forget-me-nots are gone - didn't come up this year, at least not yet. Usually they are pretty good at self-sowing but with the digging with the project in the backyard, I suspect they were done in. I saw some at Earl May store, and also some pink forget-me-nots. Hope it warms up for you soon.

Your tea trolley looks really pretty, love the sugar and creamer set and everything else on it. Hope the sun will warm up the soil in your garden for the plants and bulbs to come back from their deep sleep.
Thank your for hosting.

Hope you have a good weekend.

Hugs,
Aida
