FINALLY......GETTING ON WITH CHRISTMAS for "Friends Sharing Tea"

Hello dear blogging friends and I hope you week is filled with the blessing of decorating for Christmas.
Work?  Yes, but so wonderful!  Always a work in progress too!

In the kitchen, the buffet has been one of my first projects and today for "Friends Sharing Tea" I am sharing 3 Christmas cups and saucers and also a 3 tiered Afternoon Tea Tray my husband recently made for me.  These two are Japanese of course.  I never collected the Japanese before but last year found these:

My husband has been making these Afternoon Tea Trays for my store and it has been a challenge learning how to do it!  It seems the transferware plates are the easiest to drill.  Some of you will remember the center plate which I shared last Christmas.

This Christmastime, I have the chromo lithograph on the wall over the buffet.  We found it at a flea market last year and I just love how it takes us away to a former era.

I hope you can join my blog party for "Friends Sharing Tea" today by sharing a link at the bottom to any posting about tea time, collecting cups and saucers, baking or something tea related.  Please include a link to this post on yours!

Bernideen, your buffet is simply charming! I love your festive teacups, including the OCR ones hanging on the wall. The print over the buffet really does take you back to a simpler time. I love to think about those eras. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong century. Your tiered tea stand is lovely. Thanks for hosting and joining me for tea. Have a wonderful week preparing for this loveliest of seasons.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Bernideen,
I just love your gorgeous Japanese pedestal Christmas teacups featured today. I only have one Christmas teacup and can never find any that I fancy. The greenery with your Old Country Rose teacups and plate is perfect for Christmas. Your sideboard always makes me swoon and I must tell you that it inspired me to paint mine at the cottage. Yours is so very beautiful! Happy December! Karen

You decorate beautifully, Bernideen! I love the OCR plates on the rack, and the painting, as well as your teacups. Your buffet looks fantastic! I noticed your floor lamp in the post below - we have three "just" like it - EXCEPT our shade is not stained glass. Love yours!
Love the 3 tiered servers or curates that your hubby makes. If I were to visit your store, I'd buy one. :)

Oh Bernideen,
I love your buffet all set up for tea. You have the prettiest angels and they're so whimsical. Your hubby's tiered trays are wonderful. The chrome lithograph does transport us to a far away time. I would love looking at that all Christmas season.
Thank you for hosting your wonderful tea party.

So pretty! I love seeing the decorating done, but am not so much a fan of the process. It is a lot ofmwork! Love those fancy Japanese footed tea cups.

Dear Bernideen,
your white buffet loooks really pretty and makes me think about change my own furniture. It is the perfect background for every colorful decoration. Now the white looks so winterly with the Angels and the christmas decorated china. Love the winter painting too. Thank you for sharing this charming setting and for hosting this sweet event.

How beautiful! I'm impressed with the tiered trays you are making, and I must say I've never seen that style of teacup with a Christmas design before. (Something new to be on the lookout for!)

This setting is all very pretty, Bernideen. The whole look is very inviting and comforting. The 3-tiered tea tray is beautiful, as are all the teacups and angels. And all supported so well by your lovely buffet itself. Have a great week! Bess
