WILDFLOWER TEA SET for "Wildflower Tea In The Garden"

With way more than usual rain - my garden has gotten a little wilder this summer so I chose my German Wildflower Tea Set to use for our "Tea In The Garden"!  You may remember that I found this for a very good price at an antique mall several years back and it was Johanna at Silber-Rosen who gave me lots of information on it!  Being from Germany and knowledgeable about tea sets - she was very informative.

As I took these photos, there are men painting the house next door and I am sure they thought I was a funny lady - they are right about that!  I am also sharing a cute little flower basket doily and 2 tea towels.  I already had the towel in the center below but also found the sunbonnet ladies tea towel and the fun doily recently:

Here's a little closer up:

Of course - this is probably a coffee pot but that's OK!  Pour yourself a cup of tea....

The whole area is being covered by my Queen Anne's Lace and the bird baths disappearing underneath their stems.

I have baked some Chocolate Chips cookies so please have  some:

I hope you will join me here too and share a post from your blog about tea!  Would you also include a link to this post on yours?

The linens reminded me of the embroidery work my grandmother did. I love the wild flower tea set and would certainly love being there in your backyard. XOXO

Bernideen what a lovely tea set -- and so perfect for a garden tea! It's nice to be surrounded by flowers as you drink out of flowers!

What a pretty setting! I love all your Queen Anne's Lace. Wish I had planted some years ago. The china is lovely and your cookies look wonderful. I'm sure some folks do think we tea ladies are a little funny! But that's OK. The world would be pretty boring if everyone was the same. Thanks for sharing your delightful tea with us.

Blessings,
Sandi

Your backyard tea table is in a nice shady spot. The china is a pretty summery pattern and you've made another colourful garden bouquet that is so pretty.

Dear Bernideen,
thank you so much for your kind words about my knowledge. It was just because its an outstanding German tea set. You show so many English and American tea sets and I learn so much at these tea times. Your setting in the garden is lovely as the whole garden is. It made me smile to read about those men. My neighbors will think the same about me, as I often take all the stuff in the garden for photos without any guests. But who cares, when we have fun. Thank you for sharing this wonderful garden party and for hosting this sweet event.
Best greetings, Johanna

Your bouquet is just beautiful, Bernideen. I love that tea set too. I remember it from another time and it is delightful to see it again. My Queen Anne's Lace is going crazy this year. One of my favorite things in the garden. I have always admired it in your garden and finally got one last year which has now multiplied when I wasn't looking. Haha.
Lovely visit, Ruthie
