VINTAGE BOOKENDS

Yesterday while visiting the antique shops of Florence, Colorado, I found a couple pair of vintage bookends for my bookshelves.  One set is a pair of crinoline ladies and the other looks like George and Martha Washington:

Here is the overall effect of the cookbooks and tea books:

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Your vintage bookends are so pretty and they make a wonderful addition to your bookcase. I love cookbooks and have quite a few, but they are not displayed as sweet as yours are! Have a safe and fun weekend....hugs, Penny

It's funny, but seeing your new to you bookends just reminded me I hadn't thought of bookends for a long time. I love your new lovelies.

I like those bookends and they go so nicely with your now "neat and contained" book case.

Ooh, those are beautiful! I love browsing antique shops. I easily can get lost in them for hours. In fact, we have a shop near us called "Once Upon a Time," and after I had been in there for what seemed like 4 hours, my son made up a little song..."Once upon a time, my mom went into an antique shop...and she never came out."

Anyhow, so thrilled for your lovely discoveries.

Blessings,
Patti

Oh! Just love this, Bernideen! Books are one of my favorite things to collect and decorate with - and I've been building my vintage figurine collection of lovely ladies so these bookends are right up my alley! Delighful!
Joy!
