FINDING OUR WAY HOME for Sunday Celebration

Friday I had an interesting experience.  A senior lady came into my shop and approached me as I said hello. As she walked to the front of my counter, she said "I am lost and have no idea how to get home".  She told me her address which I typed in on google maps and got directions to her house about 4 miles away.  She said she had been to the bank and after that she couldn't find her way home.  Another customer in the store looked at my print out map directions and offered to lead her home.  I thought she may have been experiencing Alzheimer's.  She said she had prayed and asked the Lord to help her and then pulled into a parking space in front of my store - Bernideen's.  Yes, the Lord heard her prayer.

Amazing Grace. grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

That's so sweet. She was guided by gentle hands to a place of safety. Good thing she found you! We had to get our Mom off the road for that very kind of reason.

That's a very bitter-sweet story. She was lucky to find you.

Precious, precious, precious.

You are good, Bernideen and God used you well today to help someone lost.

How scary it must have been for her.

How sweet you and the other customer were able to see her safely home - you through maps and she physically.

Praise be to the Lord!

OH, I agree, it was not luck, but a gracious loving hand of God ushering her to a place of refuge and help! Thanks for sharing!

What a sad story! My mother died of Alzheimers a few years ago. It's such a cruel disease. How blessed to have found you! Her Guardian Angel.

Oh- I hope she has family that can help her along her life journey. The poor woman. That is how we knew that my mother had dementia. She could not find her way home from the grocery store. God bless her-xo Diana

I am so happy you were there for her. The words at the end of the post are so much a part of it. The bird is just beautiful in the photo. Good catch.

Best greetings, Johanna
