MORE CHRISTMAS DECOR FOR "Open House"

Welcome to a weekly blog party about decorating your home, baking, DIY, cooking, sewing, crafting, scrap booking, the list goes on..........really anything for your home!  What do you do to make your home a special place?

This week I am sharing some more of my Christmas Decorations and my fresh white fir tree.

I hope you can link a post from your blog here at the bottom!  I would love to have you join in the fun.  Please put a link on your post to this post!

As you can see - I am not a bright red person- I have no idea why but I prefer cranberry or dark burgundy and purple.

I am excited that we may get some moisture here on Sunday!  I will also be linking this post to some other blog parties: Home Sweet Home and "Home" and Home and Garden Thursday and Feathered Nest Friday and Simple and Sweet Friday

This little Deb Strain Teapot has been a favorite for years:

Your tree is beautiful1 I too prefer the whites and burgany (pale colors) but my hubby loves the red and greens, so the den is decorated for him and the rest of the house for me.

Your home looks beautiful, Bernideen. Today I saw a navy blue Father Christmas at a thrift store and I thought of you. I resisted the urge to buy it, though. I'm still posting "garden" for Open House but probably not too much longer!

Very pretty ! I love looking at the way others decorate for Christmas. The tree in the window is so lovely, what a beautiful sight it must be from outside when it is lit up and seen in the dark.

I love the angel pillows. I have few Christmas pillows but they are all sort of worn now and go out on the porch. I need to make some for the house. Angels would be a great theme.
Love the post........would join in but have not decorated yet.

Everything is very pretty and very YOU! I only like red at Christmas and Valentines....just not a red person either, so I understand.
Love,

Love seeing your decorations. The tree is just beautiful. Funny about not liking bright red, I have noticed this year that I have too much bright red and thinking I should tone it down. How can we avoid bright red at this time of year, it is everywhere. I got a sparkly Santa the other day and now he looks out of place not wearing red. He will need a separate place of honor I do believe. Thanks so much for sharing your pretty home.
