SUMMER REFLECTIONS FOR "TEA IN THE GARDEN"

Ah......Summer Reflections......the passing of the season:

Welcome to "Tea In The Garden"

I generally only use flowers from my yard for my bouquets for blogging, but I snagged these sunflowers at the grocery store.  My squirrels will consume them today - I am sure.  As you can see, my Queen Anne's Lace is all going to seed now.

I few weeks back I grabbed some of the older issues of Victoria - the September issues in particular to take a peek at past Septembers.  I was looking for September inspiration.  Isn't amazing how fast time goes?

I am ready to pour myself a cup of Autumn Delight Tea which is black with spices.

This little cat comes from who knows where every morning to torment the squirrels and I am glad to have the company here.

We might as well just feed the squirrels with these:

This is my invitation to you - join me by linking below - something about tea or gardening or both together!  Just link up at the bottom of this post which I AM LINKING to Kathy at A Delightsome Life and also Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage.   I am also linking to: Fishtail Cottage Garden Party.    Well...my muddies are waiting for garden work.  Time to plant a few mums and ornamental cabbages for the season.

Love your sunflowers, Bernideen! It's my favorite flower! Your tea accoutrements are LOVELY! How nice it must be to take tea in your own garden. I don't have one. I enjoyed your post today very much.

Hello Bernideen
I am loving those boots! Yes, where has summer gone that we're looking for autumn inspiration already.
I'll likely dig out my old issues to peruse some ideas.
Thanks for hosting.

Hi Bernideen,
a sunflower bouquet for the squirrels - no doubt they love you for that. That look so pretty. If I would be an animal in your surrounding, I am sure I would live in your garden. You created very charming and romantic vignettes for us. Thank you for sharing this wonderful tea time and for hosting this sweet event.
Best greetings, Johanna
