HONORING MOTHERS, DAUGHTERS, GIRLS AND LADIES TEA EVENT

Yesterday I baked all day - using my new oven, refrigerator and microwave - wow...it really helps to have new appliances that actually "work".  An oven that really gets hot like it's supposed too is a good thing.  Amazing after limping along for about a year or more...

Today I had a Tea Event at my store for Mother's, Daughter's, Ladies and Girls. (For what we call our recent "purchasing customers)  Here are a few photos of the food which is all made fresh from "scratch" ingredients:

These are a savory favorite (below)  Sweet and Hot Stuffed Peppers - people love them.  They are made with our own  Sweet and Hot Pepper Relish.  We have an extensive line of our own food products and like to feature using them in dishes.

A Spinach Salad with avocado, pear, craisins and pine nuts is topped with out Raspberry Viniagrette Dressing.  To the right, chicken salad in a cheesy savory shell. (Recipe from an old Victoria Magazine I often make!)

Lovely Lemon Pound Cake (recipe on this blog) , Queen Victoria Sponge Cake, Chocolate Peppermint Brownies and Chocolate Cream Sandwich Cookie:

This was our Queen Victoria Sponge Cake with our Strawberry Preserves in the middle.  It was much prettier before we cut it!

We always have drawings for 3 age groups:

What a feast Bernideen. Your community is lucky to have your store and feminine tea parties to attend.
I'll email to see if you have any booklets left, I'd love to have one.
