Sunday Celebration

(Colorado Springs - picture taken on my way to work)

Isaiah 44:3    For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground:  I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring....

Oh, Bernideen - I love this verse and am praying for the Lord's blessings in such a way - but, today we are truly being poured on here in South Jersey! Rain and rain and floods and our roof is being replaced in two weeks due to some gutter damage and we are really wishing that pouring rain would hold up - until the job is done. My husband just diverted the dripping rain from the worst spot using some plywood and stakes - may the Lord preserve the roof til we get the job done! And, keep our basement dry! Talk about blessings poured out that we can't contain - and after a month long dry spell . . .
Joy!

Amen to that! Thankyou for sharing that verse and also that beautiful photo of the mountain. Where was it taken, may I ask?

Goodmorning Bernideen, gorgeous post! I have been uplifted this morning by all those I've visited who've expressed joy and praise in celebrating God's blessings - thank you!
I hope you have a blessed week,
Kathy

God is so very present in nature. And are you aware that you live in one of the most beautiful places in the world? We plan to visit Estes Park later this year. Perhaps we can work in a trip down to your tea shop!
Hugs and blessings, Beth

Thanks to you, I now look at this photo and realize the importance of all that snow to you--and the local water supply! (God just sends it to you in a particularly pretty way, in my opinion!)

What a gorgeous view! And I love this verse. I came to your blog from my dear friend, Marilyn, at Delights of the Heart. Her visit with you makes me want to visit our niece in your town - and stop by your shop for a visit. We just came through Colorado two weeks ago on our way home from a family reunion in Kansas. We visited friends in Walsenburg and then scooted home. I can't wait to return!
