LOVELY LEMON BARS FOR TEA

I made some rather disappointing Lemon Bars last week and decided to give another recipe a whirl.  I had heard raving reviews on different blogs about Ina Garten's Lemon Bars and the reviews were certainly correct!  These are tangy lemon and please cut them small as they are "rich" with flavor.

This is where you will find this recipe:

Today I am linking to Rose Chintz Cottage and also A Delightsome Life

My oven has been on it's last leg for a long time so we will be shopping for a new oven for which I will be ever so happy.  Things wear out don't they?  We are in the process of repainting the inside of our house and restaining the woodwork - I should correct myself here!  My husband is in the process...this is a long project as there are also "so many other things" to do!

Those bars look like pie! YUM! If you are a baker you may want to look for an oven with convection mode in addition to regular bake. I love mine and it speeds up the process big time! You can bake on three shelves at the same time and not have to move any or the trays mid-process. It's also faster than the regular bake so you drop the temp and cut the time. I never knew I needed one and now I wouldn't give it up after five years!

Lemon is so frächt in bakverk.Dina cake looks very yummy out! I usually make a cake that is very sturdy with a lemon and it will be better if it stands a few days. Good to have in the freezer for unexpected guests. I love your teapot. I wish you a wonderful weekend! Zinnia
