BACK TO SNOW IN COLORADO

Ah...yes....snowing again in Colorado and yes we need this really bad!  Actually, we normally get the most snow in March and then in April we get more! This is how we get our drinking water so it is very important!  Last night we had 70 mile an hour wind shears.  That was LOUD!  I'm glad we have a big pile of wood right outside the back door! As you  an see, the day lilies, iris and some bulbs were just starting to come up in the garden.....

Mr. Squirrel says it's time to go back for MORE.....

Have a great day no matter what your weather is!

Hi Bernideen,
it might be really improtant for your water reserves but isn't it hard, too? We all are so dearly waiting for something flowering and green. I am sorry for you and hope, it will not last long.
Best greetings, Johanna

I guess this is the reality of WHY we shouldn't plant until May!!! Mr Squirrel looks as though he does NOT mind at all...
At least you know SPRING "IS" here and it will not be long till the threat of snow is behind us...
Have a wonderful week,
Donna

More snow -- wow! OK, I'm jealous because I saw not one flake here in Georgia this winter, but I can't begrudge a friend some drinking water -- plus you need it to make your tea!

Hi Bernideen,
Your pictures of your snowy yard are pretty to look at but I know how you feel. I woke up to snow on the ground a couple of days ago. Its gone now but in the 30's and 40's. Whats nice is the sunshine and seeing our little plants pushing through the dirt. Love how you can capture your squirrels with your camera!
Have a good week,
Nancy

Wow that looks all american and wintery to me. Here in Australia we have just come into Autumn but the daytime temps are still like summer. The nights are cool. Winter where I live can be bitter but no snow or sleet. Lots of frosts though. We don't really use much heating so most of winter is spent rugged up with up to 6 layers on....

Oh my! Amazed! We had summer-like weather today - I think I got a little sunburned! I remember blizzard weather when we lived in Ohio - those winds can be fierce!
Hope you have a great day tomorrow!
Kathy

We've been enjoying warm, sunny weather, which is lovely, but really we need rain at this time.
