FRIENDS SHARING TEA AND COLLECTING TEAPOTS!

Today is Wednesday which means it's time for "Friends Sharing Tea" and I wanted to share some of my teapots:

I love teapots and the one I use above for my Friends Sharing Tea button is of course, a favorite one!   If you have anything to share about tea today -please link your blog up below.

I find that it is confusing sometimes what exactly is the shape of a teapot or coffee or chocolate pot.  Really, a chocolate pot (in the center below) has a very short - stubby spout at the top by the lid.
A coffee pot's spout (see right below) tends to come more straight up from the bottom and generally (not always) starts out lower than a teapots spout.  The teapot (on left) has a spout that leans slightly outward.

I don't have to tell you that rules are often broken - people use whatever they like for whatever they want!

Please join in the fun below if you have something to share about tea!

Dear Bernideen,
thank you for that information. It is true, some pots are not clear for what they are supposed. But now I know. I love to learn such things. You have always wonderful tea things. Love the soft painting with violets on your tea pot. Thanks for sharing and for hosting this fabulous event.
Best greetings, Johanna

They are different, but I think you should use what you like! Tea with friends is about enjoying tea and conversation not trying to impress! Lovely collection of pots!
