I am always enchanted with any new canning book that is published and Gloria Nicols just wrote a winner! There is a basic section in the front of the book with canning basics that train you and prepare you! Then come the wonderful recipes and by the way - perfect for us AFTERNOON TEA LOVERS who want to make lemon curd and jams and marmalades and can them too!
The recipes in this book are unique - I love combining unusual fruits and creating fabulous combinations like the gourmet food companies do!

If you are interested in learning something new - I recommend this cookbook! Take for example, Apricot Chutney - so often restaurants serve chutney's on top of steaks. You can make them yourself and surprise everyone! This Holiday season, food gifts are perfect!
Gloria Nicol's lives "on the border between England and Wales" in a rural setting. I imagine she has a lovely garden too!
