SEWING WITH AN INSTRUCTION SHEET INSTEAD OF AN ACTUAL PATTERN

When was the last time you sewing something? Or should I say, sewed some clothing?  Well, I recently purchased a jumper "pattern" in a darling quilt shop around the corner.....Nana's Quilt Cottage

When my children were young I loved sewing so it was time to start again for my 7 year old grandaughter!  The new mystery to me is this isn't a "cut it out" pattern but rather an instruction sheet and it was a challenge.  Next time, it's a true pattern for me!  It is done now and on to other projects:

It's quite darling--I love your color/fabric choices! I'm betting your granddaughter will be thrilled with her new dress! (And like you, I prefer a pattern over an "instruction" -- LOL!)

How cute! I am sure it was worth the difficulties. I love the colors! I sewed for my daughter & nieces, and ended up with 3 grandsons. What a blessing you have a granddaughter to sew for!

That is interesting -- but things change and I haven't sewn in a long time -- at least not clothes! But I think you did a wonderful job!

Hi Bernideen,
this is a fabulous design. The combination of lime and aqua is really classy. And the patterns are so nice for a young lady. I am sure your granddaughter loves the jumper.
Best greetings, Johanna
