TEA IN THE GARDEN ON SATURDAY

Welcome to Tea in the Garden on Saturday....I hope you can take some time out of your busy schedule to rest a while in my garden!
We have had some rain this week and things are finally "wet". In fact, I haven't seen it rain like this since last year and I hope it helps the fire danger in Colorado!

This morning I set up a little vignette on my patio using a very old Victorian table I purchased years ago in Rockford, Illinois.  It is covered with vintage pieces of china and I do love it!  Some of you may recognize the Claire Murray rug as I used to sell those about 15 years ago.

Sadly, there isn't a lot of time to linger so a tea bag will just have to do!

I have been inspired by Kathy at A Delightsome Life to look through some of my older Victoria Magazines lately and soak in the romance....

This week my Missouri day lilies have just begun to bloom!  My daughter-in-law gave them to me!

I have a tiny tree in the corner on which only 2 branches appear to be grafted on - cherry tree branches.  I always wonder if the original owner of our house had a son who was boy scout who needed to do this for a badge! Not enough for a pie but plenty for the birds!

I do hope you will link up with me if you have planned a special tea on your patio, in your garden or on your sun porch!  Please do not link an unrelated post!  Have a wonderful TEA IN YOUR OWN GARDEN TODAY!

BERNIDEEN, I HOPE YOU DON'T MIND ME DOING CHRISTMAS IN JULY TEA. OUR WEATHER HAS BEEN SO RAINY IT WOULD BE HARD TO DO OUTSIDE. WE ARE HAVING THUNDER SHOWERS RIGHT NOW.
THANK YOU, RIZZI

Completely charmed! your garden is so lovely - filled with delight! You've set a lovely place for tea with wonderful reading! :)
I am attracted to the rabbits on the seat of the bench. My daughter and I just watched "Miss Potter" - a story about Beatrix Potter - it is Delightful! You've reminded me of it! Thank you Bernideen for hosting! I am so glad I could join today - the clouds are gathering - I do so want the rain - but was happy to spend a few moments in my garden to share with you!
God Bless,
Kathy

Laughing quite Out Loud!

Hello Bernideen
We are due for rain here, everything's very dry. I saw plans once to build a bench like yours but hubby never got around to it so I'll just have to drool over yours every time you use it. :-) The bunny rug is really cute and looks quite at home on the bench.
Your chintz teapot is lovely, I've been looking for one at the antique stores but so far what I've found is over my budget.
Thank you for hosting and I look forward to tea in your garden each week.
