TEA IN THE GARDEN ON SATURDAY

Welcome to Tea in the Garden on Saturday....please plan to stay a while and relax in my garden.  I recently found a darling bench at an antique mall and hope you can sit and enjoy the view of my garden!

We no longer have a "real dog" which is one reason we now have a "real garden"....so I have a large china dog for ambiance here.

As you look out you see I have a Beatrix Potter Tea Garden with Miss Tabitha, Jeremy Fisher, Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddleduck...

I especially enjoy the older issues of Victoria Magazine and have some July issues on the bench.   They celebrate summer as it should be - a slower pace with time to smell the flowers and feast on lovely visual photos.

Last weekend I also found a lovely hand painted Iris Plate and a crochet doily at a nearby antique mall.  I have always been drawn to ecru colored linens whereas most of my friends love the white pieces.

The lavender textile bedcover is very old as well as the Ecru Battenberg Lace Curtain piece.

I have shared my Friendship Teapot in the past and will always cherish it!

I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July weekend and celebrate the things that really matter in life!  Never take freedom for granted!  A special thanks here to all our military!

If you have prepared a special post of "Tea in Your Garden, patio, or porch" ....please join me by Linking up below!  We would all love to come and visit you with TEA IN THE GARDEN ON SATURDAY!  (please do not link non-related posts)

Hello Bernideen,
as always, you share such lovely china. The tea cup is very nice and the Iris plate is a real artwork. Colorful and very detail painted. The lace is so pretty. And the little doggy with the flower basket is too cute. Thank you for sharing your wonderful tea party.
Best greetings, Johanna

Hi Bernideen
I love the little bench you found and it appears to be in good condition too. I hear you about the dog - my real one has trampled so many of my plants and I've lost a few because of him - oh yes, lifting that back leg has done much damage too. Your ceramic dog is sweet, holding a basket of flowers.
At the antique stores, I'm always drawn to the linens and it's usually white that calls to me.
Thanks for hosting, always nice to join you and often I have to go over your post twice so I don't miss any of the details.

Such a lovely day for tea! You always seem to find such goodies! :) I miss the "old" Victoria magazine too...their new version just isn't the same. Hope you have a safe and happy 4th of July weekend! :)
