"The kiss of the sun for pardon
The song of the birds For mirth
One is nearer God's heart
In a garden"      (unknown)

Very near my home are fields and fields of wild Baby's Breath - they are huge - every year they arrive and look like mounds of white!

I wanted to take more photos but my camera battery suddenly shut down!

Each plant is over 4 foot across.....

I won't be posting for a week or so  - am driving right now across Kansas to see my family in Missouri: Son and Daughter-in-Law and grandkids Pete and Lily !  I won't be doing "Tea in the Garden on Saturday on July 23rd but will resume on July 30th!  See you when I get back!  PLEASE VISIT!

Have a good trip. That Baby's Breath seems to grow like lavender does...

May you have a safe and enjoyable time with family and traveling. The Baby's Breath is so pretty in flower arrangements. I'd be picking me some of this and saving it for later!

Sooooo pretty and what a treat to be able to see in a field near where you live.

Perfectly wonderful. I need some in my garden. Hmm, I wonder if the grasshoppers like that, too, though? ♥♫

I love it! And you've reminded me --- I need to go check out the wild baby's breath in my community. It dries so nicely for later use.
