HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUEEN VICTORIA

Last night it rained and hailed with thunder and lightening all night.  I was hoping to get out early and set up a celebration for Queen Victoria's Birthday....I so love the heritage and legacy of this lady!  Today is her birthday celebration so I have "borrowed" some photos from last year in the garden!  BY THE WAY- when we left home this morning it was hailing even more so I do hope my garden stands strong.

In the display are some of my set of Devonshire china - one day I will find a dear teapot to match!  Johnson Brother's produced the Devonshire Pattern which is very Victorian looking and I do love it!

of course - the food is fake so please do not eat it....

I often use my Victorian tipping teapot.....

Happy Birthday to you!  Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday Queen Victoria...Happy Birthday to you!

In the time of Queen Victoria - even the working class people were able to enjoy tea!  Victoria was of German descent and the Daughter of Prince Edward.

Today I am linking to A Delightsome Life  and  Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday

Hello Bernideen,
Wonderful tea table and tribute to Queen Victoria. My post of course was also about Queen Victoria because of course we celebrate her birthday with a holiday and a long weekend. Very nice of her!

Blessings,
Sandi

I don't know which one I am drooling over more....the tea urn or the fake goodies (Wow! they look real!)

Hope you are well Bernideen, seems we've all been having such horrible storms this year. I hope your garden escapes any damage!

Hugs,
Sheri

I enjoyed your tea in honour of Queen VIctoria. It was interesting that your china is Devonshire patttern, as I also used Devonshire today in my posting, but is bone china by Foley.
