SATURDAY MORNING TEA TIME

Happy Saturday!  Welcome to Bernideen's kitchen and taking a little time for tea!

My husband and I decided to have some Strawberry Kiwi tea this morning as we watched the news and watered the "potential"  forthcoming flowers and lawn.

I have a few pieces of lusterware from Japan and love that 1940-50's look!

I recently picked up some darling notebooks that are all hand decorated at my shop!  Since I broke my prized Alice Teapot this week I treated myself to an Alice notebook!

Today it is supposed to be in the 70's here in Colorado......

I love these English Garden Cups and Saucers.....I hope my garden looks like this soon.........

There have been Robin's in the yard......a great sign!

Today I am linking to la bella vita.....

I always look forward to your posts Bernideen. Always so lovely! I love the teapot with the birds and the teacup trio sets as well. Also...snicker...love your recipe correction...I've done that in newsletters sometimes...usually doin' it too early before the tea has kicked in! Have a great weekend!

What a lovely post! A friend gave me a teacup and saucer that is the same as those in your first picture. I totally LOVE it! It's so unique in shape and design. How fortunate you are to have other pieces as well. And your robin's teapot --- so pretty. I think I have a matching plate. If all the tea ladies got together with their teacups and china we'd have quite a dazzling display, wouldn't we! LOL! I hope you enjoy a wonderful week-and. It would be nice if the temps reached 70 in Colorado. It's still colder than that directly west of you.

Happy day to you!

What a lovely tea setting. The English Garden cups and saucers are beautiful and I really like the pretty blue teapot.

What lovely items you have in your store, Bernideen! Love the old fashioned teapot and your tea cups. We went to Miss Spenser's and it did not disappoint! We had a fabulous time and the hospitality was amazing. Here is a link to a blog post about our Afternoon Tea there. http://beyondthegardengate-beth.blogspot.com/2011/04/miss-spensers-special-teas-tearoom.html
