"PANSY TIME MEANS SPRINGTIME" ON TEA TIME TUESDAY

What's not to love about pansies? And Springtime is when they excell and burst forth with color!  Here in Colorado they bloom all summer because of our cool nights.  I love them and so do you!  Soon we will be able to have tea in our gardens and friends over. It is such fun...invite some friends over and serve a few tea treats.  Everyone loves it!

I have always been drawn to pansy doilies and hankies.  I really don't know a thing about crocheting but think it is so pretty. I set up a little pansy themed display this morning on a side table.

We also own pansy pillows and a footstool....

There  is a  large collection of dessert plates that are displayed on the walls of our home....

This was a lidless sugar bowl but we found a pansy lid to go on it....After collecting for many years,  I never let parts and pieces stop me.  We all have to follow our heart...maybe you would prefer complete sets.  Just remember, you can always add things.  I started one particular collection in Texas and have found pieces all over the USA to add to it.  Start with what you have...

I am especially drawn to mixing and matching things.  I get bored quickly with same-same.

Late note:  many items on this post were later sold at my shop!

On Tuesday's I participate with Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage
with Tea Time Tuesday......

This morning I was out in my Beatrix Potter Tea Garden....watering.  Almost three years ago I started working on this special place and things are coming forth with springtime...herbs coming up, Daffodils blooming and Tulips following behind. I am so excited to see my clematis showing green leaves...just a few....but definitely there!  Would you like to join me in the garden beginning in May and post "Tea In the Garden on Saturday"?  See the information at the right side of this blog if you would like to participate!
Gardening and tea are inseparable!

I adore pansies. The first flowers I ever planted were pansies. When I was very young my Grandfather bought me a package of seeds and I had a little flower bed all my own of just pansies.

I love your pansy things -- pansies are a passion of mine, but alas, I own nothing pansy (for which my husband is probably grateful LOL!) I especially am fond of the linens -- I don't remember seeing anything like that!
