Everything is still pretty brown.....
The sun was coming into the camera from the east this morning so these photos aren't the greatest but you can see the daffodils I planted last fall and the Forget Me Nots and a few columbines.....
So many tea party bloggers love to garden. Maybe it's all those floral decals on teapots and cups and saucers that point to gardening. After World War II, the United States imported many cups and saucers from Japan. I still have some from childhood with FORGET ME NOTS on them....
My grandmother was the one who got me interested in gardening.
Also, the physical benefits are enormous. I tried remembering that this week as I struggled to lift a 50 lb bag of garden soil into the back of my Honda.....oh boy....I am so out of shape....too many scones and clotted cream!
Mr. Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddleduck are so ready for spring! As is Miss Tabitha.....
We have a long way to go to get into the gardening.....
Are you ready?

Forget me Nots are so sweet.
Oh darlin' you have reall flowers up and blooming. We're supposed to get snow tomorrow! But my lupines have sent up tiny little fans and the helio whatever yellow flowers are coming up, as is one poor little columbine. But am I envious of you? Oh yes indeedy. I am not a patient person.
Yes, I'm ready! It was gorgeous here last weekend (rainy and cool now) I was able to get out and plant some forget-me-nots and some wall flowers. It felt so good to play in the dirt. Next week we're in the 70's so back to the garden center I go...My peonies are emerging, that's a good sign:-)
Many blessings
I adore forget-me-nots...I just transplanted my seedlings that I started from seed into the garden but no signs of flowers yet :( ...I am getting a little impatient to see all that lovely blue like yours have.
Love seeing your BP statues no matter what the season, they lend such charm to your garden.
Blessings Kelsie
I am SO ready. We just have a lot of rain right now, but everything is already getting so green here. It is different than Colorado was. I miss my forget me nots and plan to plant them here.
