MISS SPENSER'S TEA ROOM

How thrilling to see Donna Hardin and her daughter Spenser featured in the new issue of Country Woman Magazine!  If you are crossing the midwest this summer - Iowa - perhaps you could visit them in the small town of New Virginia, Iowa.  I had "met" - in the loosest sense of the word- Donna through blogger friendship. Having lived in Iowa myself in Des Moines and Burlington, I was interested in her Tea Room.  Of course, I am always interested in Tea Rooms!

Last night I dashed in Barnes and Noble to pick up a copy of this magazine which is great.  There were features on different women who live in rural communities and their outstanding accomplishments.  There are also great recipes, party ideas, gardening and other interesting material!

A photo of the beautiful mother - daughter team.....

I had done a feature in 2009 of their tea cookbook which is loaded with Donna's recipes and ideas for Afternoon Tea!  Try to pick up the magazine and ENJOY!

Congratulations to Donna and her daughter! I wouldn't be able to get that magazine here, I don't imagine.
My favourite tea room is closed in the wintertime and I can't wait for it to open again. Thanks for joining me for tea today and have a wonderful evening.

Blessings,
Sandi
