LOOKING AHEAD TO ST. PATRICK'S DAY, SPRING AND EASTER!

This morning I raised the lid on a trunk where I keep all manner of seasonal vintage linens.  I pulled out a pile of possibilities.  I never like to do my tables the same each year - you know change it up a bit! This photo was from 2009- a small table I set up next to the dining room table for my tea things.  I also pulled out my recipe folders for Spring Tea Party Ideas, Spring Cakes, etc.  Things like Daffodil Cake and Lily of the Valley Cake sound VERY charming today as it feels like snow is coming in across the mountains!  Are you ready for spring?

What a sweet and cheerful spring table! Your serving set is gorgeous. I'm gladly looking forward to spring and the gardening season. I'm so happy that my bluebells and lenten roses are blooming.

Hello bernideen,
of course, I am ready for spring. Your table is as always wonderful and the little snowflakes sailing over your blog, remind me now to falling petals of cherry blossoms.
Greetings, Johanna

Love the sidebar with the little Irish doll...I am a doll lover...she's so cute...was she yours when you were young, or is it a new doll?

Have a happy day!
