DREAMING OF TIMES IN THE GARDEN

Today I find myself dreaming of summer days and longing to be in the garden - but alas, it is cold and snowy there....so I will just dream, remember and wait!

I get lost in magazines like English Garden and Country Gardens and imagine possibilities.....

Me too!
The frost and my 'free-range chickens' have pretty much finished what the deer did last summer and Autumn (fence and all!) so this year is going to be a busy one scaling down the 'high maintenance" version an going with a more natural cottage garden of sturdy herbs and perennials, keeping the annuals in pots on the kitchen patio....maybe 'nature' and I will have a truce this spring?
I can dream, can't I?

Just came across your blog while visiting Lemon Verbena Lady blog. I love your tea party picture. Wish I was at that table. We are having nice weather here in So. California, but cold for us at night. Hoping spring comes to your area soon. Wishing you warmer days ahead.

Enjoy your weekend,

Oh darlin', with the sleet, snow, freezing rain, repeat ad nauseum I am so happy to think of gardens and Spring and flowers. Desperately waiting for my lazy amaryllis to bloom. Thanks for the great pics

Looking out into my garden right now it is very hard to imagine such a wonderful scene as in your post. What lovely pictures, and I too love gardening magazines like those you shared. Have a lovely time dreaming of spring.

I'm dreaming too! I love the English Garden & English Home magazines. Wish I had acres and acres for planting flowers! :)
