YOUR SPECIAL TEA PARTY OUTFIT - WHAT'S YOUR STYLE?

Do you have a special dress, jewelry and hat you wear when you and your friends go to tea?  BELIEVE ME....this takes having fun up a BIG NOTCH!  PLEASE TAKE YOUR CAMERA TOO!  On the other hand - you may not enjoy "costume dressing" and be a very contemporary gal - that works too!  Forget the hats - just have fun!

Many of my customers love to attend all the tea rooms in our area and grandmothers love taking grandaughters and playing "dress up" makes it even more fun.  You could even go to the Good Will Store or Second Hand shop and put together an outfit.  You don't have to find it all on the same day!  Build on it!

What about a parasol?  What about gloves....
These hats are pictured on my store blog Bernideen's In Historic Old Colorado City

The hats are lovely, as are the maniquin busts.

I hope to host a garden tea party come spring and would love for everyone to do the hat and gloves.

Blessings Kelsie

Hi Bernideen,
alas, we don't have tea parties here in Germany but I have seen a lot on the blogs in USA and Britain. It is so abolutely charming to dress up with this ancient clothes like this beautiful hats, gloves and parasols. It was a nice time when ladies were dressed so charming.
Greetings, Johanna

I have been to tea around the world and do not wear hats, gloves or anything Victorian. To each his own, in my opinion ;-) My small amount of hat-wearing is limited to one day a year for the Kentucky Derby.

I AGREE BERNIDEEN, I THINK GETTING DRESSED UP, WITH A PRETTY DRESS, HAT, GLOVES AND PRETTY JEWELRY. YOU DON'T SEE MUCH OF IT THESE DAYS. LOVE ALL YOUR JEWELRY, VERY PRETTY.
HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND.
IT IS SNOWING TODAY.

I like to wear hats (contemporary) and tea theme jewelry to tea room visits.

Your vintage look hats are lovely. I like the silk roses, ribbon and feathers - so feminine
