IDEAS FOR A THEME FOR A CHRISTMAS OR HOLIDAY TEA

I have been giving some thought to all the possibilities for themes for Christmas (or Holiday) tea parties.

Here are some suggestions you will find helpful:
Olde English Christmas Tea, Victorian Christmas Tea, Dickens of a Tea, Charles Dickens Tea, Christmas Past Tea, Holly and Ivy Tea, Nutcracker Tea, Colonial Tea

I have seen ideas for a Boxing Day Tea, Carolers Tea, Tree Trimming Tea and  Celebrating the Carols Tea.

also.....with a Christian emphasis:  A Shepherd's Tea,
a Na-tiv-i-Tea,  An Away in the Manger Tea, An Angelic Tea and An Angels We have Heard on High Tea.

and for CHILDREN:  A Sugarplum Fairy Tea, Anne of Green Gables Christmas Tea, Little Women Christmas Tea, Gingerbread House Tea, Little Drummer Boy Tea and  Nutcracker Tea

I am cooperating with Seasonal Saturday at la bella vita

I am still decorating at my house - running late this year so I am sharing photos from 2009.  Forgive me!  My new ones will be up in this next few days!

All of your decor is so pretty! Wish I lived near enough to come to one of your themed teas.

Hello Bernideen,

you know plenty of occassions for a nice tea time, I see. I would love to join one of them.
Your decoration is so nice. Love the blackberry red on the Christmas ornaments.

Greetings, Johanna

P.S. I didn't knew that Tasha Tudor loved dollhouses, too. Must been an amazing nice one if she had one.

Nice blog entry...I always enjoy the part of "planning" a tea party. In fact I just said today that I would love it if I could just plan the parties and somebody else could do all the baking! ha...

Have a very Merry week.
