TEACUP THURSDAY WITH BIRTHDAY OF MONTH CUPS AND SAUCERS

Today is Teacup Thursday and since I am in my 22nd month from starting this blogspot blog - I think I have shown every personal cup and saucer I own at some point!   So I thought about a question that comes up often in my store about the birthday of the month cups and saucers:  Why are there so many different flowers used now on the cups and saucers????

We carry 4 - 5 different brands of birthday cups and saucers but recently we have noticed all sorts of flower combinations on different months!

This is the point in this post I had already been at earlier and a screen came up telling me I needed toincrease my photo gallery space - anotherwords -pay $$$ which I did!  But then after typing everything I lost it all  so here we go again!

So here are the traditional flowers for birthdays....... again:

Jan - carnation, Feb - Violet, March - Jonquil or Daffodil, April - Daisy, May - Lily of Valley, June - Rose, July- Larkspur, August- Gladiolus, September - Aster, October - Calendula, November- Mum or Aster, December- Poinsettia or Narcissus

I think that it is as simple as this!  At the factory suddenly they ran out of decals and someone said - let's just use this one or that one!  After a while others followed suite and now......you see them all!

Nostalgia again.....What company are these from? They look familiar to what I used to order.
Thanks for the memory of some beautiful cups.
