FALL EMBELLISHMENTS ADORN A HAT

Today I was in my floral work station at my store and took a few minutes to "play" and embellish this hat....

I wanted to do something very fall...berries, leaves, fall tones

Last night I sewed ribbons on with the sewing machine in shades  of plum, copper, brown and peach....

This formed a secure base to which I could use hot glue!

I wonder who invented the glue gun...

I always have pieces of this and that to draw from!  I hope I have inspired you just a little !

Hi Bernideen,
This is the most wonderful hat I have ever seen. And it don't amaze me that you own such a charming figurine to display the hat. Everything in your house seems so lovely.
Greetings, Johanna

Hi Bernideen
Your hat turned out to be a work of art fit to wear to an autumn tea.
Decorating straw hats was a craft I did way back when, but to hang them on the wall or doors.

Such a pretty hat! Thanks for reminding me to get a glue gun on the errand list...ours went kaputt! What fun to have a real area to work from when creating florals! I hope I can visit your lovely shop some day. Donna

What a great job - very fall, but different, not just leaves and acorns! I also like the teapot for the same reason - bittersweet instead of leaves.

Hi Bernideen, I featured your lovely hat as one of the mos inspirational seasonal posts on beauty. I wouldn't even put this little pretty away, but would use it in my fall decor when not being worn! Thank you again, and I hope you stop by again with another lovely post. Blessings, Roz
