TEACUPS WITHOUT SAUCERS ON TEACUP THURSDAY !

If you are like me - you probably have some lovely teacups that don't have matching saucers!  It's Teacup Thursday and I thought I'd share a few of mine from Bavaria, Germany and France that I love but need to match to other saucers!  Of course, I have plenty of saucers that mix and match!

The one on the bottom with the peacock is from Germany - all are very old!

This one has been put with a saucer that looks similar.

I found this old lace tea cozy in an antique mall somewhere - sometime!

You will find others who share in Teacup Thursday at Miss Spenser's Blog !

On a side note:

I have to tell you that
big black crows (maybe ravens?) love my new birdbath.....I don't like them but they don't seem to care!

I, too, have teacups without saucers that I love.

Just yesterday, I was looking at a teacup and saucer I had on my bedside table and had a Eureka moment.

I placed a favorite German teacup that looked somewhat like it on the saucer and it was a perfect match (like the one you showed which looked like they were made for each other).

The nice thing about the teacups without saucers, they are usually SO cheap (like fifty cents or less).

I hope you can read this, My cat is sitting on my computer.

I'm the same, have lots of cups on their own, but I do like to mix things up and actually have odd cups and saucers together, as long as they are either the same theme or colour combination.

And because of the design, all these teacups go together just beautifully, don't they!
