TEACUP THURSDAY IS HERE !

Today is Teacup Thursday with Miss Spenser and I thought I would repost the all time most popular pattern ever - Old Country Roses!

I love my Old Country Roses Pattern China because my husband suggested we buy the set from a lady who walked in our store several years ago.  It is from England (except my teapot) and most of you know that for about 10 years  Old Country Roses pieces have been outsourced to Indonesia and China.  The set I have was older and is from England.

On Thursdays I post in conjunction with Miss Spenser and her mom, Donna who own Miss Spenser's Tea Room in New Virginia, Iowa....check them out at http://missspensersblog.blogspot.com/

How wonderful that you have an English-made set of Old Country Roses china! I only have a teapot, creamer and sugar and they are not English-made.

I love the Old Country Roses pattern although I don't have any of it. It was my Daddy's favourite! Your photos are beautiful! Have a lovely day.

Blessings,
Sandi

I too love old rose china, and fotunately it is still reasonably easy to get it here. I love to mix it all up though and set a table with a coordinated colour but different patterns.

I love Old Country Roses. I only have one piece, though...a single teacup, which belonged to my grandmother. I used it for Teacup Tuesday last week. There's a reason it is SO popular---it's gorgeous.

Blessings on your day,
Patti

Dear Bernideen,
I love Old Country Rose s also, who could resist this pattern and you decorated it as always very nice. But I didn't know about its outsourcing. On what can I see where the pieces have been produced?
Greetings, Johanna
