IT'S TEACUP THURSDAY HERE!

Welcome to Teacup Thursday hosted by Miss Spenser's Blog and if you look around - a lot of blogs do various group activities all throughout the week. This is the one I link to today!

You might wonder what that fabric is in the background...I had pushed it back there for this photo shoot!  I am down to only 7 more chair cover bottoms for my tea party in 2 weeks from Saturday!  I have done A LOT OF SEWING - more than I realized there would be!  Isn't that the way it always is?  It is really going to be fun!  All the sewing part must be done this week! I am on a schedule for sure!

Today I am sharing these little child size cups and saucers from Germany and also the tray is from Germany.  I think Miss Spenser and her Mom, Donna have made me realize I have more pieces from Germany than I knew I had collected.  I just had never noticed that before these postings and taking the time to look!  I purchased them in antique malls around America - mostly in the midwest.

I found the pansy tablecloth in Liberty, Missouri....

Hello, I love those cups of Germany and the tray with roses are the flowers that speak the language of love. All details as delicate your blog is fabulous! I have a question for you. before we clarify that I am not aware of the ways to take tea ", pardon the ignorance, but I find so beautiful and appropriate that little pedestal where their tea pot some rest, there is some place where I can buy them online? Greetings Rose Marie

Love the tea set! When two of my girls were little, for their birthday I bought each of them a child's size tea set. They sit proudly in our china cupboard waiting for the day they will grace my daughter's homes and maybe even be used by some little grand daughter's if our family is blessed!

The old German pieces are some of my favorites in all of tea-dom. The roses always appear so soft yet lush looking!

Loving the pictures! Some of your older pink teacups remind me of my grandmother's old collection she used to keep in her glass cupboard when I was a kid. Liking the site!
