THE BEATRIX POTTER COTTAGE GARDEN !

This morning we were out in the garden early getting ready for Tea Time Tuesday........there was a bit of a glare from the rising sun....

Jeremy Fisher displayed his prize winning cabbage.....A lovely tea table had been prepared for a Tea Party to TALK ABOUT!

our very best Beatrix Potter Teaset was set out......the teapot held 8 ozs of delicious hot tea....

Four Beatrix Potter books had been chosen to read during the Tea Party!

There would be cookies to serve......and so many ideas had been gleaned from several books.....

Please visit others that participate in this lovely day ....with Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage & Inspirations at:  http://sandimyyellowdoor.blogspot.com/

    Miss Tabitha....also presented her
prize winning cabbage.....

This Beatrix Potter teaset from Germany and smaller ones are available at Bernideen's Store 1-719-447-8844. The books are mostly out of print. The cookie and tea tins not available now! Sorry!

What an absolutely adorable teapart in the garden! Everything about it is perfect and the teaset is totally charming!
I see that no squirrels were invited this week but perhaps a bunny will stop by :-)
Hugs and Smiles,
Lynn

Oh, Bernideen, your tea set is simply darling! My boys all had the bowl and mug sets when they were babies; gifts from my parents. They were quite pricey in those days. That pretty coconut cake looks good too. A lovely tea; especially out in the garden! Always a pleasure to come and have tea with you. Thank you for joining me for Tea Time and I hope you are having a delightful day, my friend. I don't like to be bothersome but my link isn't working as you have Sandi spelled with a 'y' instead of an 'i'.

Blessings,
Sandi

Love the Beatrix Potter teapot and set. My children when they were young had Peter Rabbit china. I gave one set away (cry, cry) but one set now in use for Grandchildren.

Your tea garden is so beautiful Bernideen, and it inspires me to keep plugging away at my own little Eden in hopes it will be as warm and welcoming one day!
