Would you believe the clouds are heavy over Pikes Peak and the snow and rain are rolling in? My yard doesn't look like this today! In fact, I bought some forget me nots and they are in the kitchen keeping warm right now!
IN REFLECTION...here are some photos of last summer!
Last year I started working on a Beatrix Potter Tea Garden in my small backyard...first I cut out two corners of the yard in a pie shape...which took weeks since I work a lot!
This was how it looked from the upstairs looking down.....
This old door welcomes you as you enter the side of the garden....
a lovely table is prepared for you....please wait to be seated!
Jeremy Fisher is here waiting for you to be seated...he loves to chat with guests....he will probably try to inspire you to make your own Beatrix Potter Garden...
This year we are inviting Jemima Puddle Duck to join our garden!
Jeremy Fisher and Miss Tabitha and Peter Rabbit will inform you of her arrival later!
I have cut up my grandmother's old pillowcases for covers on the backs of the folding chairs - and old table cloths have formed covers for the seats!
I do hope you will visit others who participate in Tea Time Tuesday at Rose Chintz Cottage & Inspirations....you can arrive there by just clicking here: http://sandimyyellowdoor.blogspot.com/
