PINK SATURDAY SNOW AND A ROSE!

Yesterday we had snow all day at our house and rain in Old Colorado City's Historic District.  The wind howled all night and is blowing snow and rain in different parts of town now!  AH...THE JOY OF SPRING IN COLORADO!

This rose was a gift years ago from a friend I met when I moved to Colorado -  artist, Sharon Dougherty.

For those of you enjoying spring like weather..don't take it for granted!  I wish all my blogging friends a Happy Pink Saturday  and a great weekend!

This day is brought to us in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness from Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/
and today I am linking to Susan at ASH TREE COTTAGE AT ....

A very beautiful pink rose Bernideen. Years ago my husband presented me with a print of a pink rose with a butterfly, and the frame is pink too. It is one of my favourite gifts from him so I'll to show it sometime.
Here's hoping the snow goes away and warm spring days will grace your area soon.

Hi Bernideen! It's such a pleasure to meet you. I too love Beatrix Potter. I have her books, and have watched Miss Potter many, many times! Your painting is so sweet. Thank you for visiting me for Pink Saturday and for your lovely comment. I am now following you too.

Love,
Susan and Bentley

Hi Bernideen... I am up here in Wyoming and still freezing too! Oooo, I think I'll make some hot tea now to take away the chill.

I am going to be introducing you in my Pink Saturday post on May 1.

Since one of my ideas for the Old House is to turn it into a tea room, I am going to follow your lovely blog. Expect an e-mail from me too.

Many blessings!

It's me again, Bernideen. I looked but I can't seem to figure out how to e-mail you privately. When I click on "e-mail" in your profile, nothing happens. Would you mind e-mailing me at [email protected]?

Many blessings,
Necel

I saw that you guys had a lot of snow, yet again. I always thought that us Northern people were the hardest hit people. Hope it all melts real soon. I love that painting and I love the frame just as much! Take care,

Hi Bernideen,
This is my third attempt to leave you a comment as Blogger is acting up again today!
Your rose is a beautiful piece of art and the frame is lovely too.
We haven't had snow since early March which is a real treat for us here on PEI. Hopefully yours will come to an end soon and springtime will be in full bloom. Looking forward to having you for tea and wishing you a lovely week.

Blessings,
Sandi
