MAY HERALDS IN THE MOTHER - DAUGHTER TEA PARTIES!

As you approach the month of May - we know that this month is the most significant one for Mother - Daughter tea parties!  And what great memories are made, manners embraced and love exchanged between family  and friends. This might be the day to get out a creative notebook and begin writing down some thoughts and ideas for your next tea event. If you are inexperienced at baking and creating afternoon tea foods - ask others to bring one item each or enlist the help of friends to create the menu!

You might choose a theme such as:  Beatrix Potter, Anne of Green Gables, Jane Austen and on goes the list.  Depending on where you live - a garden can be a divine setting for a tea party.  Do you have an old croquet set?  Children love this old lawn game.  There are also many helpful tea party books mentioned on this blog loaded with ideas.  Start somewhere - even if you decide to go to a bakery.  Then build on your experience and knowledge!  Above all, have fun and make great memories!

Hi Bernideen,
Blogger's been acting up again today. This is my fourth attempt at commenting. Hopefully, it will go through this time.
Your tea party sounds like such fun and the food looks good too. Thanks for sharing and I hope to have you stop by tea tomorrow. Have a lovely day.

Blessings,
Sandi

May certainly is the perfect time for a special tea.

We always have my youngest niece and her dollies come to tea when we go out west for a visit. She is starting to be a big girl now, and may not want to include dolls anymore, but I think she will always be up for tea and cookies with her aunties.

Hi Bernideen, Thank you so much for stopping by my blog -- I'm sooo glad to have found yours! I love all things tea, and your store looks delicious:) I would love to make a drive down sometime to see it.
Do you have an email list to notify customers of special events? The visit by Beatrix Potter must have been wonderful!
I was going to go right over and tell Rizzi about your blog, but I see she's already been by!
