I'M A LITTLE TEAPOT SHORT AND STOUT !!!

Back when I was a little girl, we all grew up singing "I'm A Little Teapot". This song was a loved part of childhood.  The book was originally written by 2 men in 1939.

In 1996 Iza Trapani did an adaptation of the original book and added other verses making a new story! The expanded verses tell how a teapot visits China, Mexico, the opera, a jungle and other places while waiting to be used
to serve tea!

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SING:

I'm a little teapot, short and stout.
Here is my handle, here is my spout.
When I get all steamed up, hear me shout.
Just tip me over, pour me out!

This book is a MUST HAVE FOR YOUR CHILDREN'S COLLECTION!

I once saw Angela Lansbury sing this song - can't remember if it was in a movie or on Murder She Wrote but she did it quite well. :-)

WHAT WONDERFUL MEMORIES THIS BOOK AND SONG BRINGS ME. AS A CHILD, MY SISTER READ ME THE STORY AND WE SANG THE SONG, WHEN I HAD MY CHILDREN I READ THEM THE STORY AND WE SANG THE SONG. WHEN THEY ALL GREW UP I READ THE STORY TO MY GRANDCHILDREN AND WE SANG THE SONG. BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES.
