Tea Quote


Cucumber sandwiches are a wonderful staple of tea parties. Here is a fool-proof recipe for perfect ones: slice two peeled cucumbers into thin slices.  Toss these with a dash of salt and about two tablespoons of white vinegar.


Let these stand for an hour and then drain.  Spread unsalted butter and a bit of cream cheese on white bread. Layer cucumbers thinly

Hi Bernideen,
I love cucumber sandwishes in the summer.My MIL had a cabinet full of Old Country Rose china which she passed on to her daughter.
