Welcome to an October Pink Saturday!

Today is Pink Saturday and I am posting mostly PINK THINGS! This painting was a gift from my artist friend years ago......Sharon Dougherty. I decided to repost some photos from my old blog of things around my house including this "Bernideen's" chocolate pot which I am getting ready to use now that the weather has turned cool.......... A lovely piece of antique lace under glass.......

Several people have asked about the buffet in my header which is in my kitchen. This was hand painted by Sharon Dougherty here in Colorado Springs and used to be in her shop, "The Lace Chest" until she closed it. She is a very successful artist.......

The inside of the door looks like this:

One of my very old florals - every once in a while I take apart and redo as needed...

I hope you can visit other Pink Saturday participants who are listed at this blog: http://hossweetthesound.typepad.com/myweblog/

Lovely Pink Saturday things. The dark wood cabinet is lovely also, and I really like the floral arch above it.

I can see by the painting on the inside of the door why she's a famous artist. That looks just classic. --Teaternity

The air is cooler, the days are shorter, winter is on its way. From now until April of next year I will have to rely on Pink Saturday for my pink fix!

Thanks for participating this week and for helping my day be just a little bit more pink and sweet!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with the love of family and good friends.

I just found this web site & blog & have enjoyed reading it all. I love tea & having tea parties in my own little Tea House (an old two room building) on the property that we rent. I fixed up one room as a Victorian Sitting Room and the other one a Tea Room for tea parties. It is only big enough for two but I have been enjoying my one on one tea parties with my friends.

I would like to sign up for your Abundant Blessings giveaway.
