Never too many Tea Party Books! #1

My passion is clear - I love Tea Party Books! As I read different tea blogs I can quickly tell the blogger's first love....mine is the table settings and tea pots for the Tea Party. Yes, I love the setting up for Afternoon Tea....and I love the books with ideas for that! I visited a blog a number of times that combined tea with politics. I thought, wow, this isn't for me. I don't want to hear about arguing over politics at the same time as something I love as much as tea parties.
Tracy Stern has written a wonderful book with ideas for tea parties...different seasonal party ideas, bridal party ideas...you name it!

The Charms of Tea is an old Victoria Magazine Book now in paperback with beautiful photos and inspiration!

Full of information about tea, this book also has recipes and great tips on tea! More to follow.........

I couldn't follow tea blogs that were too political either. Even if I agree with their beliefs, it's not something I could keep up for very long. Tea is meant to build bridges, not to bomb them as us against them. --Spirituality of Tea

I have a shelf of tea books as well -- one that I especially like is Afternoon Tea by Michael Smith . . . and an English Nanny's Book of Afternoon Tea.

Hi Bernadine, I hope it wasn't my blog that had some political stuff that ruined your tea time. I don't post politics often, but do sometimes.
Anyway, you know I love your blog and all things tea, especially BOOKS, magazines and tea blogs!! Thanks for introducing us to these.

I love tea books. While visiting my family, my seven year old granddaughter showed me her collection of Tea Time magazines and tea books I've given her through the years. She also loves them. :)

That's why I don't talk about politics. I think in three years I've only done it a couple times. It's not that I don't have opinions, it is only that I don't feel that is what my blog is for.

As it is, people have to put up with me getting preachy on Sundays, hehehe.

I love tea books as well. I have "The Charms of Tea" and used it when planning the tea party my sister and I gave this past weekend. I also have an English one, but I forget the name right now...

You have such a great site - I too enjoy books aznd magazines on tea parties, especially the table settings. And I agree with you: please 'hold up' on the politics! And why are they calling political rallies 'tea parties?' A political rally is a political rally - let's leave 'the tea' out of it. Thanks for a great blog site, the music, the photos...just wonderful! Wish I could visit your store. Thanks again, Joanie Anderson, Tea Fan, Newnan, Georgia
