Wild and Crazy Pink Saturday!

We have had a steady stream of folks today from the Victorian Society of Colorado Springs. OLD COLORADO CITY CELEBRATES 150 years TODAY SO THIS IS A BIG DAY HERE IN OLD TOWN...........I WISH THEIR DRESSES WERE PINK!!!

This has been a wild and crazy day at Bernideen's ........time out for tea!
I have already had a shoplifter who is on his way downtown in the squad car............whoooo....he messed with the wrong woman here....a woman LOADED UP WITH PINK TEASETSThis is my own Old Country Rose CHINTZ teaset..........
Have a lovely Pink Saturday as you visit others under Beverly's direction at http://howsweetthesoundtypepad.com/

Look at the couple dressed from the past! How interesting :-)

I'm looking at the dress of the men in these photos, and I like it. It's not like modern professional business wear; it's more like an old-fashioned gentleman's attire. I'd like to own some clothes like these. --Jason

I enjoyed seeing the couples in their Victorian costumes and your lovely chintz tea set. Sorry about the stress of dealing with a thief, hopefully a rare occurrence in your shop.

This is my kind of event! And they say Americans aren't whimsical--I love it. If you haven't been, you must go to the Dickens Festival in Broadstairs--the whole town parades in their Victorian togs! So wonderful. (And coincidentally, I think Prodigal Wife just posted some Victorian wannabes she saw in Leningrad. Great minds...)

We have some lovely flowers for you at the Prodigal site--please pop in and pick them up!

Since you are curious - we sell ladies clothing and he stuffed a $122.00 sweater in his pants!

Shoplifting is, in addition to a violation of the law, just such a great violation of the spirit of teatime! Good for you for catching him!

I wished I could have come for a visit. It looks like everyone had a great time. It was a shame about the shoplifter though.
