Pink Saturday Tea Party in the Garden!

It is Pink Saturday and I am ready with my first table in the garden.........you can come can't you? It is tea party time! You may pick your favorite chair here......

I have cut up my grandmother's old pillowcases that no one wanted but me.....if she were here she would love these! I sewed old doilies on them and this formed the back chair covers.

I cut up old table cloths that no one wants to iron anymore to make the chair skirts!
Are you feeling inspired yet?
We shall have a delightful tea party!

Mrs. Tabitha and Jeremy Fisher are also here..........

Have a delightful Pink Saturday!

What a lovely idea. You did a super job taking those old things and using them so beautifully. They all look so pretty, and I will take a little sugar in my tea.

Oh Bernideen. The minute I saw this post, I knew those were old tablecloths that you had transformed. Oh my gosh what a wonderful idea honey, and with the doilies, on the backs. Oh how absolutely breath taking. Anyone, even the queen would be proud to sit for tea at this table. Thank you so very much for sharing this wonderful tea with me today. I have had such a wonderful time. Please stop by and say hi. I would love to have you visit. Country Hugs, Sherry

Everything looks beautiful. I love the vintage linens and pink with white china, white swans and pink butterflies. You would have to seat me, since I'd have a hard time choosing between those lovely chairs. Your hard work certainly paid off.

Your pink garden tea is so pretty. Love the idea of the pillowcases used on the chairs. I have some that would work perfectly there.

What a pretty pink table AND how clever of you to reuse old linens in that manner. So very clever. You've been added as a Friend of Linderhof as well.

Yes, yes, I will come. And, any one of those chairs will be perfect. I love what you have created.

When I saw the plates on your table, I had to smile. My favorite coffee mug ever was that same pattern. I used it every day until it broke many months ago. I have looked and looked for one just like it or even one that I could love, but so far no luck. Isn't it funny that something as small as a coffee mug can give us a smile?!

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Bernideen.
