Blueberry Congealed Salad

This lovely salad will serve about 12 people....it also tastes like dessert:

The congealed base consists of 1 large grape jello stirred into 2 cups boiling water, 1 20 oz can of drained pineapple and 1 can of blueberry pie filling. Stir all together and place in refrigerator.

Topping: 1 8 oz cream cheese softened, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup sugar
Spread on top of the congealed salad and refrigerate!

It was a happy day for him when he gave us our new lives, through the truth of his Word, and we became, as it were, the first children in his new family. JAMES 1:18

How funny I was reading Screen Doors and Ice Tea the other day and she talked about congealed salad. Being a CA girl I was not familiar with this. Interesting. Clarice

Oh, how delicious this sounds! It's beautiful, too. Sounds like it would be excellent for a church supper. God bless.

This sounds so wonderful! I love blueberries! I am not crazy about sour cream, could I substitute?
