Welcome to Pink Saturday! Time to Learn the Difference Between a Teapot, Chocolate Pot and Coffee Pot!

It took me 3 weeks to figure out how to "schedule" a blog so it pops out on time. I have everything else figured out with blogspot except how to put a photo just anywhere on the page....they all seem to go to the top in succession for me........I'll get it eventually! (That was easier with wordpress!)

Here is my Pink Saturday contribution! A lesson indeed! This morning I have ladies coming for my "How to Have My Own Tea Party Classes" so you are going to get a free lesson on one of the many things we will be covering! The teapot to the left above is easy to identify...the center one has a short spout which qualifies it to be a chocolate pot and the coffee to the right has a spout that shoots up pretty straight from the bottom. This is a basic way to tell the difference! (there can be some coffee pots that are similar to teapots!)

Bernideen, I love the fact that you explained the difference in the spouts on the teapot. I have one that I pretty much felt "was" a coffee pot and not a tea pot., but you've confirmed it 100% for me! Thanks Sweet Bernideen! ;) All three pots are precious too! I picked up a few new cups on my jaunt up north this past week, I was in the Phila area and had some great stops at a few Antique Boutiques. Be Blessed! ~CC Catherine from "Catherine de th`e Cups"

Great lesson. I think most people don't know the difference.

I am in love with that chocolate pot? Is it in your store?

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Bernideen.

Hi Bernideen - thank you for the tutorial! I thought the one on the right might have been a chocolate pot as well, but your explanation about the spouts makes sense. I've always wanted to own a vintage chocolate set - now I'll be able to find the "real deal" and not a coffee pot instead! Is there anything that makes the chocolate cups unique? Aren't they sort of taller than tea cups? I'd love for you to continue your teaching to explain about more particulars of each kind of "set" - tea, chocolate, and coffee. Your knowledge is invaluable! Hugs, Sharon

Happy pink day! Love those pots! OK, how do you schedule a blog to post at a certain time? I cannot figure it out at all! Help! Thanks in advance.

I’m still stopping in on my Pink Saturday list. Excellent lesson. I have a teapot and chocolate pot in the same pattern. The chocolate pot prompted much discussion, coffee, tea or ? Solved.
