Using An Old Antique for a Tea Chest

Here is an idea for
you...using an
interesting piece of
furniture to put your
tea in.....

With winter in full swing.......look around the house and see if you have a piece of furniture that might work for you!

I am so excited about my new blog..

oops...I think I already said that!

My tea chest is really an old telephone stand from the 1950's. It works perfectly for tea and the little drawer holds the gadgets!

This picture hangs over my tea chest and takes me back...it is called "The Patissere" and shows ladies indulging in sweets...

I love the event of Afternoon Tea where savories, sweets and tea are served.......today I will be joining a friend for lunch for tea.

I hope you will visit my blog often! Be sure and go back to my old blog for information about all things tea. http://bernideen.wordpress.com/

That is such a good idea. That piece looks way better with Tea goodies on it than a telephone would! :0)

Bernideen - I love the tea chest idea! It is always fun to repurpose vintage or antique items in a new and creative way - and it looks like you're great at that. I'd just finished writing a post on my own blog about friendship when I jumped over here and was excited to see your Friendship Teapot drawing - count me in please! Keep up the great work on your new blog (the floating hearts and blings are a darling touch) Blessings, Sharon
